I got a brand new digital camera today!! I love it. The camera before this one had seen its last days. Here is the first picture I took with it. It's of Jeter of course, are you Suprised!!:)

A Long Time!!!

It had been a long time since Scott and I had hosted a party at our house. I figured last night was the perfect time to do so. I hosted a small get together with our close friends. Scotty was working but again he was there in spirit. Jeter had fun with the kids and Colin and Luca enjoyed themselves. They are at the perfect age and they are getting harder to snap pictures of. Thanks for coming everyone!! It had been too long:) Also, My sister Jordan turned 30 yesterday. She celebrated by playing in a volleyball tourney. We are going to celebrate tonight. Stay tuned!!

Happy Easter!

Scott and I had a great Easter Weekend. It started out by spending Friday night at Pizza King and then heading to downtown Council Bluffs and doing a mini bar tour. Then we spent Saturday night in Red Oak. Last night we headed to the Pit Stop where we met up with some of Scott's Friends from High school. Today, We headed to church and Sally prepared a wonderful lunch. It was great to spend time in Red Oak and with Scott's Family. Happy Easter Everyone!! Thank you for everything Sally!!

Happy St.Patty's Day!!!

Happy St. Patricks Day!! It has become a tradition for Scotty and I to head to the Dubliner. We have gone there 5 years in a row. We love it and enjoy each year!!!!

Bus Ride O'fun

Well Last night we celebrated St. Patrick's Day early but more importantly we celebrated our friend Anne's Birthday. We celebrated on what Anne called the Bus Ride O'Fun. We started in Crescent,IA, then Mineola, then Tabor and then onto our final destination in Imogene,IA. Imogene is an Irish town. The whole town was out last night. It was a great time to celebrate Anne's Birthday and St. Patty's Day. I will say it was an overall crazy night and we all let our hair down and Partied. I think think the picture above of Justin says it all!! Also, Anne plays a mean tamborine:) Enjoy the pics!!!

We love Arizona!

We returned from visiting Jeremy, Rachel and Sam. Sam was fed,changed and loved by his aunt and uncle. It was a nice relaxing vacation and we could of stayed another week. The weather was wonderful and the time with Jeremy and Rachel was great. Sam is adorable and we could not keep our hands off of him. Scott and I went hiking, we spent Saturday night at Scott's Cousin Steph's house and just hung out. We miss Sam already. Thanks for a wonderful trip Jeremy and Rachel!! See you soon!!

Phoenix

Scott and I head to Arizona tomorrow to visist Jeremy, Rachel and Sam. This will be our last trip to Arizona to visit since Jeremy and Rachel are moving back to Des Monies. We are excited for them to be back in Iowa but we are more excited to see Sam tomorrow and for the whole weekend. This will be our first time seeing him. I heard the pictures do not do him justice. The weather is 85 degrees and sunny. I cannot wait to get away from this cold and enjoy the heat!!

Luca!!!

Yesterday for a whole hour Scott and I finally got the chance to babysit Luca. Scott and I just love Luca. We have been around her since day one and she is the cutest. When Lauren called and asked if we would sit with Luca until she is able to pick her up after work. We were so excited. Luca had fun at our house... at least I think so:) She enjoyed emptying out our drawers and the best was when she found Torre the Cat. She was so excited. Torre not so much!! I tried to snap some pictures of her. She is a fast little booger:) Lauren and Justin, she is Welcome at our house anytime!! I guess you can come too:)Also, I kind of got the itch to have a little one running around our house soon.

Good News!!

Okay the way I spilled the beans to Lauren she thought I was pregnant:) Well that is not the case. Scott and I have found a place to build our new house. We are moving to Bent Tree. We will be living across the street from Jordan and Steve and we are quite excited about it. Jordan and I had always said we wanted our kids to grow up with eachother:) We closed on the lot yesterday. Scott and I are very happy but cannot get too excited until our house sells. So cross your fingers and pray that our house has some appeal to someone:)When the weather gets nice again Scott and I will be taking free rides out to the lot. We thank all of you for your support!!!

Firehouse Dog!

Today Scott is working on his day off so we can head to Phoenix next weekend. Until April, Scott is the crew chief at Station 2. The station located in base housing. It is a small quaint space with only one firetruck and 4 Firefighters. Today I told Scott I would make enchiladas for him,Jeff, Chip and Zach and I would have dinner with him. However, I am a little under the weather so I am letting the fellas enjoy them without me. When I dropped the enchiladas off I took Jeter with me. Jeter is suffering from the winter blues so I thought he deserved sometime out of the house. He loved the fire station and enjoyed getting fed peanut butter and jelly by Uncle Jeff and hanging in the fire truck. It was new adventure for him. Jeff offered to watch him tonight and let him stay at the Fire Station but of course Scott said no. I would of loved the night alone:) I think the Offutt Air Force Base Fire Department has a new mascot.Of course I had my camera with me. Enjoy!!
