22 Weeks

My time is flying by. I cannot believe I am already 22 weeks along. It has been a smooth ride these last couple weeks I am happy to report (except for the heartburn I have been experiencing). Scott and I are getting more excited by the minute and cannot believe Baby William will be here before we know it. We start our parenting class on Wednesday and we are looking forward to it. We just hope it helps.:) I go back to the doctor on April 9th and I am excited to see our little guy and see how much he has grown.

We were in Des Monies last weekend visiting Jeremy, Rachel and Sam. Sam loves his uncle Scotty. It is truly a joy to me to see Scott interact with Sam. I know he will make a great dad! We also wanted to thank Jeremy and Rachel for giving four full boxes of clothes (to borrow of course) and lots of others items to use for the baby. We appreciate it so much! I will not have to do laundry with all the clothes we have now! Thank you so much!

Another House Update

The sunroom is completed and has quickly become my favorite room in the house. Today I enjoyed the room with the windows open while catching up on my celebrity gossip magazines:) I love it. Scott said if he can't find me in the house he knows were to look. Scott did a great job on this room and I am so proud of him. He has put his heart and soul into making this house absolutely amazing. Enjoy the pics!

Happy St.Patty's Day!!!

St. Patrick's day was laid back this year. I met Jordan out for a couple hours after work while Scott worked at the firestation. There was a little more excitement for the Martin Family, St. Patrick's day did bless Colette and Andy Martin with a beautiful baby girl Adeline Marie Martin. For those who do not know, Colette and I have been friends since 1st grade. Adeline is precious. Congrats Colette and Andy! We are so excited that William will have a cute friend to play with. Maybe they can date too? :)

What's in a Name?

I wanted to share with all of you the name we have chosen for our baby boy and the importance of it. Scott's grandpa Barr was named Arthur William. We have chosen to name our baby boy William Arthur after Scott's grandpa. I never had the honor of meeting his grandpa Barr but I have heard stories of what a wonderful husband, father and grandfather is was. We are honored to name our baby boy this. Scott came up with the name and I loved it. We will call him Will. We cannot wait to meet out little guy and are getting more excited by the minute.

The Nursery

Scott and I got a head start on the nursery. Our summer is pretty busy already and it has not even started yet. Scott wanted to finish up the nursery before his painting business gets really busy and the weather gets nice because it is time to landscape and paint our house too. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted for the nursery and it all came together. We still have a few things to add but this is the finish product as of now.

It's a BOY!

We headed to the doctor today. We got the news that we are expecting a baby boy. He is healthy as can be and growing right along. We can start planning and most importantly decorating the nursery. We are so excited and it is starting to feel very real.
