7 Months Old

Four Years

Four Years ago Scott and I were married ( on the 25th). It is hard to imagine how fast time has flown. I thought I would post a picture from then and now. Alot has changed in four years:)

For those that do not follow the carepage...Here is a little update on Will. It is NOT the news we wanted to hear but we will handle what God throws our way! The pressure on Will's right ventricle has not improved therefore Dr. Delaney is a little concerned. Also, his Mitral valve is leaking more blood than it should. It looks like Will is facing the next stage of Open Heart Surgery called the Glenn. On Monday, when the cardiologists and surgeons to meet to discuss Will's case we will know more. Keep William in your thoughts!

Also, My mom had a heart procedure done today called abaltion. She is doing great and should be home tomorrow. We cannot wait for her to start feeling better:)

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday. I decided to post this a day early because we all have a busy couple days coming up. Happy Birtday Dad and Thank you for all your help and being my taxi driver:)

P.S It is getting harder and harder to get a picture of William. He is a mover and a shaker:)

My Grandma Oder was a master at making homemade mac and cheese and I grew quite fond of it. I have passed torched onto William. We tried out the mac and cheese at Panera. William loved every minute of it. :)

CHD Awareness Banquet

We attended the Midwest Heart Connection CHD Awareness Banquet. We were lucky enough to be joined by Lauren and Luca Bond. Luca had some much fun in the bounce house and with the clown that was making balloon animals;) We enjoyed meeting familieschildren with CHD's and also reuninting with nurses that took care of William while he was in the hospital. We had a wonderful time. I want to extend a thanks again to Lauren and Luca for joining us. We are looking forward to the many more events that MHC puts on for these special children:)

Will is getting closer and closer to crawling. He is scooting all over the place. He is growing so much and devolping quite a personality. Enjoy the pics!

Go Big RED!

Today is Go RED Day. Will and I wore RED today to bring Awareness to Heart Disease.It is important to spread awareness for all kinds of heart disease that are out there.

Almost there!

Will has been working on sitting up on his own. Today he pulled himself up while we were at Lunch and then he sat by himself for a whole minute:) He is getting so big and changing everyday. Thursday we head to see Dr. Hammell to get a progress report and then on the 23rd we head to Dr. Delaney to find out the game plan. Hopefully we will know for sure if Will will have a heart cath or open heart surgery. He is coming right along and growing like a weed!
