It' a Summer Miracle:)

Well for those who do not follow the carepage I wanted to give you an update on William. Yesterday Scott and I got a personal call from Dr. Delaney. When you here from the doctor and not the nurse you automatically think the news can go two ways...Good or bad. Well according to Dr. Delaney not only does he have news he has Great news:) This was music to my ears. Dr. Delaney and Dr. Hammel discussed Will and they said at this time open heart surgery is not necessary. We are positive that when he is older he will have some sort of surgery to repair the damage of his valve but we have learned not look that far ahead and focus on the present. Right now, they are concerned with the Shunt and if his heart can support itself without it. Both doctors think it can. So William will head to the cath lab in the next month or so, so they can get a better a look at his heart and make sure they are not missing anything that may or may not of shown up on the Echo. If all looks well then Dr. Delaney will plug the BT shunt and Will's heart will be functioning without help from anything. This could be the best possible news we could have gotten. Keep the prayers coming and that the cath goes well. It is still heart surgery but just not as extreme as open heart surgery.
