Happy Veterans Day

Today I am thankful for my husband. As a member of USAF he did two tours overseas and served our country for 4 years. His service lets him do a job he loves as firefighter at Offutt AFB. I am grateful everyday for everything he does for  William and I. He does a mean load of laundry ( even folds it and puts it away :) ) and allows me to be successful at my job and picks up the slack after I have had a long week at work. I am so thankful for Scott's service along with all those who have served and are currently serving. God Bless you ALL!

Hank ( 18 months) and William ( 3 years old)

Hank and William have turned into quite the little characters. I am so grateful my sister is so close to me and I can stop by at anytime to spend time with them. With Steve and Scott sometimes working the same schedules we get alot of extra quality time together. Hank and William are best buddies and I love their relationship and watching them grow!

Halloween 2012

Superman gave us a reason to smile this Halloween.  I was able to head to William's parade and party at school. I then was able to take him around Timbercrest for some treats.

Smiling for Michala

On October 28th 2012, a very special friend of my sister's and our family passed away suddenly. Michala was playing  soccer when she collapsed from a brain aneurysm and died. Michala was able to donate 6 of her organs and save 4 lives. This shows you what an amazing person Michala was. My sister along with a thousand other people were lucky to have such a wonderful person in their lives. Michala lite up the room when she walked in and her smile was infectious. It was hard not to smile around her. I look forward to the day ( when William understands) telling him that after his open heart surgery we received a very special package from Michala and a special note telling him to be strong and hang in there. Michala will be missed by many and never forgotten.
