We headed to Des Monies this last weekend. We first headed to Adventureland with Larry, Sally, Jeremy, Rachel and Sam. It was a great time. We had a little incident happen during the Parker Picnic with Chocolate Milk. (See Picture to left). Just put it this way. More of the Chocolate Milk went on me than in Scotty's mouth:) Although., I do not like rides and the lines to the water rides were really long we had a wonderful time. Sally dominated in Skee Ball and I think I spent about $10 trying to beat her score. I was unsuccessful:)
After Adeventureland we headed to the Iowa State Fair. We met some friends there Nick and Sarah Herrick and Jennie and Jim. We had a wonderful time. We had a heck of time at the fair. Scotty waited in line for 45 minutes at the ATM and then it ran out of money. I thought it was funny..Scotty not so much. I love the Iowa State Fair and Scotty and I are going to make it a tradition to attend every year. If you have not been it is wonderful. Oh and the day ended up with us eating Fried Oreos and Fried Twinkies. It is true anything and everything tastes good fried.
