Scott celebrated his 31st birthday yesterday. We started the day out by enjoying breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed to Lewis Central to watch our friends Josh and Shirley state champion Wrestler son, Alec wrestle. We had a great afternoon. The evening consisted of us joining some of our favorite friends at Pizza King and then we headed to Barley's Tip Top for one night of Dueling Pianos. Thanks to Nicole Murray we had a VIP table and front row seats. Scott was invited onstage to sing and dance for his birthday. I missed it and did not get any pictures because I was in the restroom:( I heard he was really thrilled about it! ( insert sarcasm here) :) We had a great night!

Six Month Check Up

William had his six month check up with Dr. Shawn today. He is a whopping 15pounds and 26 inches long. He is growing and getting so big. He had to get 3 shots and I also chose to give him the flu shot. He also has a little case of eczema. Dr. Jones is very happy with his progress even though Will is on the small size. They have started comparing him to "normal" babies when it comes to his size and not on the "heart" baby scale:) Will can also start on meats, work on using a spoon and also a sippy cup. I cannot believe how fast time has flown by!!

Happy Half Birthday!
Will is six months old today! It is hard to believe six months ago today Will was born and has since experienced 3 heart surgeries By looking at him you would never know anything was wrong with him except for the scar on his chest. We do not remember what our life was without him. He has been a pure joy and we are so proud to be his mom and dad.

Happy New Year
Well what a year 2009 has been. It has been the best year but also the toughest year of our life. We are truly blessed to have William in our life and we are truly blessed that he is such a strong little boy. We look forward to 2010 and look forward to a good diagnosis for William. We keep praying he will end up with a full functioning heart however we know things can go wrong but we try not to think about that. Scott and I want to thank all of you once again for all the love and support we had this last year.
On a side note, we spent NYE at the Turner house celebrating a Cyclone victory. William fell asleep and was unable to celebrate with us. But it sure was good to spend the New Year with some of the most important people in our life. GO STATE!
