Happy Memorial Day!!

Well it was a hectic weekend and I did not take one picture!! (I know you are all thinking what the heck is wrong with me). Well we had a full house this weekend.I kind of felt like Danny Tanner:) With a total of 4 house guests this weekend. We had friends from Wisconsin and Iowa staying with us. It was a fun filled weekend. Friday we enjoyed a BBQ at the Birusingh residents, which are always fun. Saturday we headed out on the town and Sunday we had a surprise party for my Steve, My brother in Law, to celebrate him getting on the CBFD. Steve was not surprised ( Jordan is a very bad liar) but he was happy with the turnout:) I worked yesterday!! Which was the downer of my weekend. It looks like it is going to be another busy week ahead. We will keep you posted!!

Celebrate CB!

Jordan let me tag along with her today while she volunteered at the Celebrate CB parade. I also helped volunteer. We did a great job! We got off to a rocky start when the parade started to go the wrong way(not our fault):)!! We got it on the right track again and enjoyed the show!! My brother in Law, Steve, lead the parade with the Crescent Fire Department Honor Guard(He is the one with the axe) It was my first parade since Mr. T showed up about 20 years ago. Lauren and Luca also stopped by too. It was great to see Luca's face when all the floats floated by. It was a great day and the weather could of not been better!!

What's New?

Well Scott and I have been extremely busy. First off, I made a trip to the Doctor's office. My ankle has been swollen and sore ever since the race. I have pulled some muscles and ligaments in my ankle. I am sporting an ace bandage and I get to wear Tennis Shoes to work for the next two weeks. Which is the most exciting thing I have heard in a while. Most importantly the doctor told me to REST!! Scott finished up his first paint job and is starting on his next. Business is booming:) We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday, since Scott and my dad were both working on Sunday. We spent it at Lo Sole Mio my mom's favorite restaurant. It was great night with my family. We also got the honor of seeing Jeremy, Sally and Sam for a little bit on Saturday. Sam is getting so big!!

Run Forest Run!!

We got a few pictures of us running the marathon. Scott said he has his running face one. The one of us crossing the finish line is my favorite. Why? Because the race is over!!! Also, we came in just under 3 hours. We started 15 minutes late!!

We did It!!

Scott and I finished our race in just under 3 hours. Scott was a sweetheart and ran with me the whole entire 13.2 miles. He could of been done sooner but he said he wanted to cross the finish line together and we did. The run was a new adventure in our life. It was a great weekend. After the race we headed to the Kumari's parents house and had an after party to celebrate. It was a great day with friends. Some of us could hardly walk but it was still fun!! We also celebrated with some Champagne:) Enjoy the pics!!

Go Lancers!!

Hockey has become our favorite sport as of late. Last night the Omaha Lancers were playing at the Mid America Center. It was game 5 of the series and if they won they headed to the USHL championship. It was an exciting game with a total of 9 goals scored. The Lancers defeated the Lincoln Stars 5-4. For those who have never been it is an exciting atmosphere with die hard fans. We headed to the game with Scott's Assistance Chief Mr. Kuttner and and his wife, Patty. They are die hard fans and it was a whole new experience for us!!! We might have to pick up some Lancer Hockey Jersey's. We seemed to be the only one who did not have one:) Go Lancers!!

(Sorry about the picture, I forgot my camera and had to use my cell phone)

Also I have to add Scott is acting Station Captain at work this week!! This is a great accomplishment for him:) I am so very proud of him!!
