Both the Turner and Oder Families joined company on Sunday to celebrate Hank's 1st Birthday.  William is known as the "foster" cousin to the Turner cousins and he always looks forward to playing with big kids. William enjoyed unwrapping "his" gifts. It was great day celebrating Hank's birthday and Mother's Day!

Railroad Days 2012

There is something about working for the railroad and the pride that you have doing so. I am so lucky to have a great job that keeps me busy, pays the bills and allows me to be part of a 4th generation. Being 4th generation is not something many can say. Union Pacific has been great to my family, my dad has put in 40 years,  Jordan has been successful  and continues to be as a director in IT and I am working my way up the chain and loving what I do. My mom quit Union Pacific to stay home with Jordan and I and to me this means most. Being married to a railroader means you do most of it on you own. I could not be more proud to work and be apart of the UP family! We attended railroad days at the CBSU. This will be my dad's last Railroad days as retirement is in the near future for him :)

Heart Walk 2012

Yesterday was the 2012 American Heart Association Heart Walk. In total I had 82 walkers on my team.  We had small gathering join us at Stinson Park for the walk. My parents, along with Scott's parents, our friends Nic and Kristi and my co worker Cristina walked with us. It was a great day! The most amazing part of the day was watching Charley Eisele of Union Pacific present a check to the AHA for 76,000.

Grateful

I am so humbled and overwhelmed with the gratitude of my family and friends. My Heart Walk Team earned a total of $3,200 and the total amount for Union Pacific as a whole was $77,000. I cannot even tell you how grateful I am for everyone who donated and contributed to such and important cause. Saturday, May 5th is the big day. It is such an important day not only to support William but my parents and all of my  friends who have been affected by Heart Disease. I appreciate every single one of you. YouR love and support has meant to the world to Scott, William and I.
