More Pics from CanFest

For a Cause!!

Last night we attended CanFest, a concert for Hunger. The Kat 103.7 hosted the concert, which was all acoustic, and all the proceeds went to the Omaha Food Bank. It was a great show that consisted of Jeremy McComb, Josh Gracin, Jake Owen and Eric Church four great country singers. It was a great time and it was for even a better cause!

ISU/Nebraska Weekend

This past weekend was the football game we wait for every year. Scott and I are opposites sides for this game and it is a battle throughout. The Huskers came out victorious ( ISU will get them next year)!! We had a great weekend and as always enjoyed tailgating with both ISU and Husker fans. It has been a tough season for the Cyclones but they will be back next week against Texas A&M and it looks like the Huskers might have turned it around.

On Sunday, we headed to Vala's Pumpkin patch with the Moorman Family. We enjoyed our time with Josh, Shirley and the kids. The patch was packed but so much fun. I love the season of Fall. It is my favorite time of year!

Wedding Weekend

We attended a wedding this weekend in Des Monies. Scott got to see several of his friends of highschool that he does not get to see all that often. We had a great time and as always it is nice to see everyone and catch up. We also were able to stop by and see Jeremy, Rachel and Sam. It is hard to believe that Sam is 9 months old. He is getting so big. Next weekend we head back to Ames for the ISU/Nebraska game. It is a battle in the Ratcliff family:)

On the Move Again

Well as you know Scott and I were planning on building a house in Bent Tree. We had purchased our lot and in the meantime were renting a house. Well we told ourselves that if we found a house that we loved we would not build. After months and months of looking..... Well we found it. Scott and I have put an offer on a house. We love it! Even better was that the house was a foreclosure and we got a great deal. We made an offer and the offer was accepted. The offer is pending inspection however. If everything does well and nothing major is wrong with the house we close on October 31st. The house does need a little TLC considering the people that lived there obviously did not care that they had a great house. We will replace the carpet and paint before we move in. The house is absolutley amazing!! Scott and I are truly blessed!!
