Luca and William

William spent the evening at the Bond resident's last night. Lauren was nice enough to volunteer to babysit Will so Scott and I could attend the St. Albert Auction. It looks like Luca kept William quite entertained. We are looking forward to the new baby girl Bond arriving in June. Luca is going to make a GREAT big sister. Thank Lauren and Luca! We owe you big time!

9 Months Old!

Will is nine months old today:

He is still not crawling, Very close he army crawls and rolls everywhere

He still has no teeth and despite this will eat anything.

He weighted 17 pounds 2oz at his last doctor's appointment

Grandpa Mike is already grooming him to be a Yankee fan

He waves bye bye and says dada all day

His favorite toy is his bunny that sings " I feel good" that he got for Easter from Great Grandma Dolly.

We survived!

Well Will started his first day of daycare at St. Albert on Tuesday. Right now he is only attending part time but will be going full time in about a month if the doctors clear him to do so. This means I will be going back to work at the office. Although I loved my time at home with Will and was so grateful to work from home it is time I return. It is getting harder to work from home the older Will gets. It is very bittersweet. Tuesday and Wednesday went okay for Will. Of course it will take some adjustment for him but he will love it I know it. It was really tough dropping him off but I think to myself this only means he is getting better and we could not ask for more.

Steve and Jordan are celebrating his birthday in Cozumel. I was hoping to get this up sooner so he could see before he left this morning. Have a great trip and hopefully William is crawling when you get back since he has experienced your baby bootcamp:)

Will's many Faces!

A+

Will received an A+ at his appointment today. His doctors are seeing growth of his right ventricle which means Will could have full functioning heart. Right now he is doing great with the help of the BT shunt. It looks like the shunt will be able to be plugged through the cath lab eventually. This is the best news we could of gotten. This means their is possibility of no more open heart surgeries. Also, William had a neurological test done that they do with all "heart"babies too make sure he is right on track developmentally and he scored 100 percent on all of his tests. So all in all William had a successful day at Children's.

On a side note, There is a movie out there called What the Lord Had Made about the BT shunt. Scott and I purchased the movie so we could show it to Will once he is older. Without the invention of the BT shunt William would not be here. I suggest all of you check it out! :)

Sir Talks-Alot

Happy Easter!

Will spent his first Easter in Red Oak. We stayed the weekend with Scott's parents and enjoyed every minute of it. My parents made the trip down for dinner on Saturday. It was nice to have both sets of grandparents together for William to play with. We took William to see the bunnies, chicks and ducks. I think I had more fun with this than he did and We almost brought Grandpa Larry home a bunny for his birthday:) We are so lucky to have our families so close. Thanks for the wonderful Easter!

Trip to the Zoo!

Today ended up being a wonderful day. I had the day off work because of the Holiday and so did Scott. We headed to the zoo with Aunt Jordan and Uncle Steve. Will is a social butterfly and loved every minute of the zoo. He even went on his first Carousel ride! Towards the end his tiredness was showing because he skipped his afternoon nap. We are looking forward to taking him back to see more! Enjoy the pics!
