Happy 3rd Anniversary

Scott and I headed to Los Angeles to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. We got the honor of visiting my friend Martha and her boyfriend John. They were both great hosts and we had a blast. They took us around the town and we enjoyed our time with them so much. We made a trip to the Beach and Santa Monica Pier, we visited the Tar Pits, went on a hike, went to the comedy show The Groundlings (this is were Will Ferrell and Kathy Griffin started out) It was a hilarious show and Finally, we went to Universal Studio and did a studio tour.We did so much more that I cannot mention it all. It was great! We did not want to leave and could of stayed there forever. We are already talking about heading back. Scott wants to try surfing. I said I would sit that one out so Martha and I decided we would babysit while Scott and John surfed:) Thank you so much Martha and John. We had a great time and miss you already! Signing OFF.....Going to California

The last time I headed to Los Angeles I went solo. Well Scott and I are heading to LA tomorrow to visit my friend Martha and her boyfriend John. I try to make this trip once a year and look forward to seeing Martha and John. Scott decided to join me since we had to cancel our trip to Jamaica in April. We decided this would be our getaway befor Baby Ratcliff arrives. I had a great time last year and I am looking forward to it this year. Scott has never been to California so I know he is looking forward it too. So I am signing off for now...We will be back on Monday. I will post pictures soon!

Happy Valentine's Day

Scott and I went out on our first date 5 years ago today. It has been a great five years. Last night we celebrated Valentine's Day. Scott surprised me with a romantic homecooked meal with all of my favorites: Crab Legs, Rib Eye, Asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. He also got me a one hour pregnancy massage. I cannot wait to use it. I graced him with a homemade card. I know the exchange does not seem fair but you all know Scotty and he never "wants"anything so I let my creative juices flow. We finished up dinner and headed to the Jeremy McComb concert. It was great. We had a great day and night together.

We had a doctors appointment today and things went well. Baby is healthy and happy. We did not get confirmation however on whether or not we are having a baby boy or girl. Dr. Ferrar had to have emergency surgery so therefore he was not able to be at my checkup. I thought I would post an ultra sound picture.We have to wait 3 more weeks! Enjoy!

15 weeks!

I am 15 weeks today. I have had a pretty tough go at pregnancy and too be honest I am not enjoying myself as much as I should be. I had to make a trip to the doctor last week unexpectedly because I am all the sudden suffering from migraines something I have never experienced before I was pregnant. Baby is healthy and I was given a strong dose of Tylenol to ease the pain. I am still suffering from morning sickness and have gotten every virus that has been going around my office:( Whoa is me right? Well Scott and I did receive some exciting news at our last office visit. Dr.Ferrar was not there to check my out so my PA Bridget did. After looking at the ultrasound she said it looks like we have a healthy baby boy and he is a thumb sucker (looks like he already takes after his mom:)). We head to the doctor for our monthly check up tomorrow so Dr. Ferrar will confirm that we are having a boy. Scott and I could not be more excited!
