It was Scott's Kelly Day weekend and I took a vacation day today so we headed down to Kansas City for a little getaway. Jeter stayed in Red Oak with Grandpa and Grandma Ratcliff. Scott and I had a marvelous time. We ate and gambled at the slots and much to our disappointment we both have to go back to work tomorrow. We were so unlucky. On the way home we took Highway 71 home. The scenic route most of you would call it. We endured some fog and Scott took me on a tour of small town Iowa. We visited Villisca, Stanton and of course Red Oak. I wanted to call Anne to see what Glenwood had to offer but we were anxious to get home after the long car ride. We had a great time on our way home. We saw some special landmarks. Enjoy the pics!!!
