Well we headed up to Ames this weekend with Jordan and Steve to watch the Cyclones and Huskers play basketball. It was a great time. Iowa State presented their Century Team at Halftime. The Mayor Fred Hoiberg was there and that was the highlight of the game in my opinion. He was my favorite college player when I was growing up. The game was a little boring and nothing like ISU football but I think we caught the cyclones on a bad day even though we won.Also our seats were at the highest point in Hilton Colieseum. I am afraid of heights and it was quite scarey. We headed to Tip Top, a regular hangout for us during football season, before the game and after the game we played a couple games of MAD GAB. If you have never played this game, I suggest you do. It was a great 2 hours of entertainment for all of us. At 730am this morning, Dad called and woke us and told us that it was snowing in CB and Des Monies was going to get Blizzard like conditions. We hit the conidtions on the way home and thankfully made it home safely. It is cold outside. Vegas is in 4 days!! I can not wait for 60 degree weather!!
