We would like to introduce you to William Arthur Ratcliff. He arrived on July 23rd at 11:29am weighing 8 pounds 8 oz and is 19 inches long. Will has endured alot in his first days and has been poked and prodded more than I ever have in my life. At a day old he was whisked away to surgery to have a heart catheter. . The tests from the heart cath came back good and Will is expected to have surgery on Monday or Tuesday. William is going to have to open heart surgery when he is only 4 or 5 days old. Scott and I are really scared and nervous for our little guy. He has been a fighter so far and will continue to fight. Good news is that the cardiologists thinks that it will be a fix when they operate on William, this meaning he may only have to one surgery. The positive thoughts have been working. Will is a strong and Scott and I are so in love with him.
