We made it to August. It seems like time has flown by. Will is 9 days old today. I wanted to give all of you an update. First off, Will is doing great and progressing well. We still do not know if he will need another surgery. They will send us home( we do not know when we will go home) and we will see Dr. Hammell every 2 weeks for check ups. Will did have to get a nasal feeding tube. He is able to suck on the nipple of a bottle but he cannot suck enough. In order to keep hydrated and not starve him they had to put the feeding tube in. What he does not eat from the bottle is put into the feeding tube. Will is progressing and eating more and more with each feed. Scott and I are adjusting to life as parents. We are staying busy in the hospital and idea that they do everything for you is FALSE. We feed him, change him, take his temp, give him baths and cuddle him. He is truly amazing and we cannot believe he is all ours. Scott and I want to thank all of you again for all the thoughts and prayers. We love all of you!
