Today William had his follow up echo since his BT Shunt was closed. According to Dr. Delaney everything looks great. As of now plugging the shunt was the right thing to do. It sounds like Will is not going to have to go through another open heart surgery for a few years. And when that happens they will be replacing his right valve. But that is down the road and right now we are celebrating everyday. He is also no longer on aspirin to thin his blood. I am so glad we are done with this stage of medication.
We also got good news from Jordan and Steve. They are expecting Baby Turner in May. I am so excited to meet the little one and I am so excited for Will. We wish Jordan and Steve the best and we love them so much! :) I am hoping for a little girl but all that matters is the baby is healthy and happy ( I am still crossing my fingers for a girl) Jordan and Steve could not be happier and we are soooooo happy for them!
