William is three weeks old but has only been home a week. We are adjusting well to him being home. Jeter does not know what to do with himself and is really confused at who Will is. I think he is a little annoyed with the arrival of William. Will is doing great at home. Still having a few eating issues and having a hard time gaining weight. For a "normal" baby eating and weight would not be a concern but with heart babies it is huge concern. Will exerts more energy than a normal baby just by even getting his diaper changed. He has not lost weight since leaving the hospital so that is good but we need him to start gaining more.
Scott heads back to work tomorrow so I am on my own. I am kind of nervous about it but I am also going to enjoy my time with William before he heads back to surgery in another 4 or 5 months. We also start our many visits to the doctor. We see Dr. Jones, our pediatrican, once a week and the cardiologists every 2 weeks. We head back to see Dr. Hammel, Will's surgeon, on Thursday to get an update on Will's heart. I will keep you all posted!
